We are currently looking for an email Marketing Operations Manager to join our team at Questica. This role is all about getting the right messages to the right inboxes at the right times. The Marketing Operations Manager will build, optimize, and report on omnichannel campaigns for Questica and eCivis. They will design and deliver strategic campaigns that align to buyer journeys across the public sector markets Questica serves: local government, higher education, K-12 schools, healthcare, non-profit as well as eCivis in state, local and tribal governments. Additionally, this person is adept at working cross-functionally to develop workflows and campaigns for both marketing and sales.

 

Curiosity drives the marketing operations strategist to try new campaign formats, email templates, and CTAs.  This person will grow relationships and build trusted rapport with colleagues and analysts who can contribute ideas and content to build out the email campaign strategies and tactics. This is a hands-on role that requires getting involved in the day-to-day tasks and operations. 

 

Duties include:

  • Manage information workflows and campaign performance
  • Take a hands-on approach to optimizations, setting up automation, personalization, and testing focused on continuous improvement with regular reporting
  • Set up Pardot and Salesforce campaigns with appropriate workflows to ensure that data from integrated marketing programs flow accurately into Salesforce/Pardot
  • Share recommendations and take action to improve best practices including database health, lead list creation, program templates, forms, and performance reporting
  • Champion best-practices related to bots, in-product messaging, web forms, landing pages, and lead scoring
  • Lead sales team education related to email campaigns, testing, scheduling, list prep, and scoring

 

A successful candidate will have a perfectionist streak when it comes to writing and data management. This role contributes to eCivis and Questica’s success by increasing engagement and conversion rates among prospects. Successful outcomes will include end-to-end sales campaign best practices, end-to-end management of eCivis and Questica’s eNurture program, and oversight of contact privacy and explicit consent.

 

Responsibilities

 Email marketing campaigns

  • Ensure design and layouts are optimized, user-friendly, and mobile-friendly
  • Proof key messaging
  • Identify graphics requests for designers
  • Compile and purge email lists
  • Follow-up on email inquiries
  • Be the SME for sales leaders looking to improve their email campaign scores
  • Develop an omni-channel email campaign strategy for eCivis and Questica (development, corporate communications, customer success, etc)

 

Explicit consent USA and Canada

  • Manage eCivis and Questica’s application of industry regulations and best practices for CAN-SPAM (USA) and CASL (Canada)
  • Track, monitor, improve sender score, deliverability

 

Qualifications - Required

  • 2-3 years of email campaign experience
  • Post-secondary education in communications and/or marketing, or equivalent training
  • Proven experience as an email marketing specialist or similar role
  • Solid understanding of building and configuring data, list management, segmentation.
  • Expert with HubSport (or Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)
  • Demonstrated ability to tell compelling stories about people and technology.
  • Knowledge of HTML, web analytics
  • Strong communication and cross-team skills
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker, problem-solver, highly motivated, proactive, flexible, and results-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with a proven record of working independently to prioritize, plan and deliver results aligned to business objectives.
